I am reading the Rivers of London; funny, fantasy and crime. It is research as well as enjoyment because that is what I am hoping my current WIP will be. I hope that burn isn't too bad.
Not cosy. I thought I really loved it but I have had trouble getting into the second one in the series Same with Jim butcher, loved the premise of a magician detective but it got too brutal and messy and I didn't feel like reading the second one. Agatha Christie and Terry Pratchett are a couple of my favourite authors. Have you read Sophie Hannah? She does a good line in psychological crime novels. Who do you like and do you have any Urban Fantasy recommendations?

I do like crime, is it cozy or more intense?
